I'm Isolde. I Photograph Professionals Who Take Their Image Seriously.
About Isolde Baylor, Philadelphia Headshot Photographer
I'm a headshot and portrait photographer on the Main Line, serving executives, leadership teams, and professional firms across Philadelphia.
I don't do mini-sessions. I don't rely on natural light and hope for the best. I bring controlled studio lighting to your location — or you come to my studio in Wayne — and I direct every frame. You get individual coaching, consistent quality across your team, and retouched images that look like you on your best day.
Most of my clients are in financial services, law, healthcare, and consulting. They come to me because their image has business consequences and they don't want to leave it to chance. More than half come back — for updated portraits, new team members, or a second office.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm probably in the pool or at the barn. I swim competitively, ride horses, and have strong opinions about coffee. I live in the community I serve, and I've built this business one relationship at a time.
Why It Works
Controlling the Light
Most photographers rely on available light. That means your skin picks up color from grass, walls, and windows — greenish, uneven tones that look off. I bring the same studio setup to every session. Same flattering light at 9am and 4pm. Accurate skin tones for every person on your team.
The Difference Is Direction
I adjust for every face. Bone structure, skin tone, comfort level — everyone gets individual coaching. I work with people who hate having their photo taken and walk them into an expression that's confident and real. Nobody gets four ears. Nobody gets a photo they won't use.
The Consistency You Want
Volume photographers give you volume results: inconsistent lighting, rushed sessions, images that look like they were captured on different days by different people. My process delivers a cohesive set — same background, same quality, same standard. Your website finally matches.

About the Name
Isolde (is-OL-dah)
My Irish mum named me after an Irish princess from a medieval legend — part of the King Arthur stories — yes, the opera one. My grandfather was a composer, but I was born in California. Fifty years of "Eye-soldee" and "Iz-ol-day" later, I answer to most things.
IBA
A colleague started calling me IBA years ago and it stuck. Easier to spell, and now it's on the studio door.
Ready When You Are.
Whether it's a single executive portrait or a session for forty, I make the process easy, efficient, and — yes — actually enjoyable.
On location across Philadelphia, Main Line, King of Prussia & the Route 202 corridor. Studio sessions available at Eagle Yards, Wayne PA.
