The Main Line has a higher concentration of financial advisors, attorneys, and executives per square mile than most places in the country. Your headshot has to hold up in that crowd. A bad one costs you credibility before you ever shake hands.

I’ve been photographing professionals on the Main Line for years, so I know this market well. Here are five photographers who specialize in headshots in this area — what each does best, what to expect, and where they might not be the right fit.

I photograph individuals at my Eagle Yards studio in Wayne (Route 202 corridor) and teams on-site at offices across Greater Philadelphia. I bring everything, handle the scheduling, and each person is in and out in about 3-5 minutes.

Individual sessions start at $395. Group coverage starts at $1,500 for up to 10 people and scales to $5,000 for up to 60 people.

Strengths: Largest review count in the area. Tethered review means you never leave without images you like. Handles groups from 5 to 200+. Nationwide travel available.

Limitations: Not a generalist — I don’t photograph weddings, events, or family portraits.

2. MHamiltonVisuals — Matthew Hamilton

Best for: Individual headshots, actor headshots, corporate groups who want a Philadelphia studio with Main Line availability

Matthew has 178 five-star Google reviews and an amazing studio at 219 West Rittenhouse Street in Germantown. He’s one of the most respected headshot photographers in the Philadelphia market, in business since 2013, and he genuinely makes people comfortable in front of the camera. He also offers on-location services for in-office photos in the general Philadelphia area.

Individual sessions start at $250, corporate group sessions run $150-$250 per person. Published pricing, no surprises.

Strengths: 178 five-star Google reviews. Beautiful dedicated studio. Published pricing. Serves within 50 miles of Philadelphia. Strong with both individual and corporate group sessions.

Limitations: Studio is in Germantown, not on the Main Line itself — add drive time if you’re in Wayne or Bryn Mawr.

3. Pictures by Todd

Best for: Professionals who also need event photography, Bryn Mawr and Lower Merion area

Todd is an award-winning photographer with a studio at 10 Thomas Ave in Bryn Mawr — plenty of parking, which is a real plus on the Main Line. He’s primarily known for weddings and events, but his corporate headshot work is solid, especially if you want one photographer for both.

Strengths: Bryn Mawr studio with easy parking. 58 five-star reviews on WeddingWire. Can bundle headshots with event coverage. Award-winning.

Limitations: Headshots aren’t his primary focus — most reviews center on weddings. No published headshot pricing. More skilled generalist than headshot specialist.

4. Crissy Everhart Photography

Best for: Budget-conscious professionals, team headshots where per-person cost matters, Chester County clients

Crissy has 25+ years of experience and over 1,000 headshots in her portfolio, working from her studio at 260 Spring Rd in Malvern. WPPI Certified Professional Photographer. Pricing is transparent — $175 for an individual session including one retouched file, with group rates at $125/person for 6-9 people. No travel fees within Chester or Delaware counties.

Strengths: Published, competitive pricing. 42 five-star Google reviews. Group rates scale well. WPPI certified.

Limitations: Malvern is the western edge of the Main Line — less convenient for Ardmore or Bryn Mawr. Generalist (families, weddings, events) rather than headshot specialist.

5. MODA Photography — Carmen Smar

Best for: Quick individual headshots, actors, professionals who want an affordable studio session in Delaware County

Carmen works out of Broomall, PA — just south of the Main Line. Pricing is the most accessible on this list: $145 for an express session (20 minutes, 2 images) and $245 for a standard session (60 minutes, 3 images, two looks). Same-day proofs and edited images within two days.

Strengths: Most affordable pricing on this list. Fast turnaround. Serves Radnor, Media, and DELCO communities.

Limitations: Broomall is south of the Main Line proper. Studio-only at published rates; on-location is custom-priced. Smaller review footprint than others on this list.

How to Choose

The right photographer depends on what you actually need:

  • Large team, on-site at your office? That’s what I do most. I handle all the logistics.
  • Individual session, highest review count? Matthew Hamilton has 178 five-star reviews and published pricing starting at $250.
  • Tightest budget? Crissy Everhart’s $175 sessions and MODA’s $145 express sessions are hard to beat.
  • Need headshots AND event coverage from the same photographer? Pictures by Todd can do both.
  • Quick turnaround, actor headshots? MODA delivers proofs the same day.

Every photographer on this list does good work. The differences come down to specialization, location, pricing, and whether you need someone who can handle a team of 60 or just you.
